Magic Roll: the saga continues

Greetings fellow foodies!

Not too long ago, I relegated Magic Roll to the gone but not forgotten section of the site, as it seemed to close and re-open every five minutes (below is what was on Vegan Brizzle as of October 2012). Well, the good news is that Magic Roll has re-opened properly! I've had two over the last week and they are glorious. A new entry will soon appear on the main site, so - for now at least - I have moved the old entry here.

The old entry for Magic Roll (up to December 2012):

As of 12th October 2012, I have no idea what is going on with this place. It has shut several times and re-opened but it looks like the Triangle premises have now been taken over by another restaurant. If you know what is going on with Magic Roll, let me know here!

Here is what I wrote about Magic Roll in the days before they closed and re-opened every week: I've been ruined forever when it comes to wraps - nothing tastes quite as good as these. There are lots of vegan fillings available including your standard salady type things (carrot, cabbage) and some wonderful roast veg, olives and falafels - the best thing, though, is their sweet chili sauce. At about a fiver, you can't go terribly wrong and the Clifton branch is open until 3am if you ever fancy a midnight snack! Annoyingly, though, their Redcliffe branch is happy to leave their sign out, fooling you in to thinking they're open when they're not. This is the kind of shop where they'll ask you exactly what you want anyway, so you can mix and match to taste, but be warned, not all staff know what vegan means, so don't just say 'vegan wrap please'. If you fancy something a bit lighter, you can make up a salad box in the same way.
